Role Overview
The Early Years Teacher will guide children through meaningful learning experiences in alignment with Montessori philosophy. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community will be essential in supporting each child’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging Montessori lessons tailored to children ages 3–6
- Prepare and maintain a stimulating classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document student progress
- Support each child’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., AMI, AMS, QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in Montessori or international settings
- Strong knowledge of Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multicultural community
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
