Role: Economics Teacher

We are looking for an Economics Teacher who can:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with international curricula such as IGCSE and A-Level or equivalent
• Inspire critical thinking and foster a deep understanding of economic principles, global financial systems, and current economic issues
• Prepare students for external examinations, ensuring strong academic performance
• Use a range of teaching methods and technology to support different learning styles
• Create a classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect
• Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments
• Communicate regularly with parents and school leadership on student achievements and needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Economics at the secondary level
• Strong command of curriculum frameworks such as Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A-Level
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working in an international and multicultural school environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Fluent in written and spoken English
