FS Homeroom Teacher – Glendale International School, Dubai

The Role: FS Homeroom Teacher
As an FS Homeroom Teacher, you will:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with British curriculum guidelines.
- Present lesson plans to the Elementary Lead for approval and adjust them based on coordinator feedback.
- Use modern teaching aids and technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Foster a stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active participation.
- Design and prepare worksheets, handouts, and assessments to support learning objectives.
- Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, offering constructive feedback.
- Identify students who require additional support and collaborate with staff to ensure their needs are met.
- Actively participate in school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities to enhance the school community.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A BA in Primary Education or equivalent qualification.
- Experience teaching the UK curriculum in an international school setting (preferred).
- 3-5 years of proven teaching experience.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create engaging learning experiences.
- Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
