Role: IGCSE Commerce Teacher

As an IGCSE Commerce Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing students’ understanding of business, finance, and economics. Your lessons will provide practical insights into commercial practices, market trends, and financial literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IGCSE Commerce following the British curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering business concepts, entrepreneurship, and market structures.
• Use real-world case studies and interactive teaching methods to enhance student learning.
• Assess student progress through regular assignments, projects, and exams.
• Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills to help students understand global commerce.
• Provide additional support to students who need help grasping complex concepts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Commerce and Business Studies curriculum.
• Stay updated on economic trends, financial markets, and business strategies to provide relevant examples in lessons.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (specialization in Business, Commerce, or Economics preferred).
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country where the degree was obtained.
• At least two years of experience teaching IGCSE Commerce.
• A strong record of effective teaching or successful teaching placements.
• Experience working with students who have learning or behavioral challenges.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
