About the Role
As a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher, you will:
- Teach Mathematics to students in Grades 6–12 within the IB MYP and DP frameworks.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that encourage analytical thinking and real-world application of mathematical concepts.
- Differentiate instruction to support a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues in cross-disciplinary teams to enhance curriculum development.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to teach Mathematics in an international or IB school setting.
- Familiarity with the IB MYP and DP curricula is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for international education and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
