Role Overview: Middle School Mathematics Teacher
The Middle School Mathematics Teacher will design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based math lessons. You will help students build a deep conceptual understanding of mathematics through real-world problem-solving and hands-on learning. Collaboration with colleagues and contributions to curriculum development and extracurricular initiatives are expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach high-quality math lessons aligned with international standards
- Engage students using diverse instructional strategies and technologies
- Track and assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments
- Collaborate on cross-curricular projects and interdisciplinary learning experiences
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with students, families, and colleagues
- Participate in professional development and school events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in international or bilingual school settings
- Strong understanding of student-centered and inquiry-based learning
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to continuous learning
