Position: English Literature Teacher (Secondary School)
As an English Literature Teacher, you will teach key components of British and world literature while helping students develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. Your lessons will promote discussion, critical interpretation, and a deeper appreciation for classic and contemporary texts. This role also provides opportunities to contribute to school-wide events such as drama productions, reading clubs, and academic competitions.
Qualifications:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field
- Has at least two years of experience teaching English Literature
- Demonstrates proficiency in the British Curriculum (IGCSE preferred)
- Possesses excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Brings enthusiasm for working with diverse, international students
- Shows commitment to continuous professional development
- Communicates fluently in spoken and written English
- Works independently and contributes to broader school initiatives
