Role Overview: Vice Principal – Secondary Campus
The Vice Principal will play a key role in supporting the Head of School and leading the academic, pastoral, and operational functions of the secondary division. Responsibilities include:
- Leading curriculum implementation, instructional quality, and teacher development
- Promoting a positive school culture focused on student achievement and well-being
- Collaborating with department heads and academic coordinators to improve learning outcomes
- Evaluating and enhancing academic programs to align with international standards
- Providing mentorship, performance feedback, and support to faculty and staff
- Engaging with parents, students, and stakeholders to maintain open communication
- Driving school improvement initiatives and supporting accreditation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an international or secondary school setting
- Native English speaker
- Strong understanding of international education frameworks (e.g., IB, Australian Curriculum)
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and inspire excellence
- Proficiency in using educational technologies for school operations and learning support
