Founded in 2012, CISK began with the Ontario (Canada) curriculum and has grown into a fully authorized IB Continuum School, delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) to students aged 3 to 18. Our school is located in Kunshan, China, and serves an international community representing more than 24 nationalities.

Role Overview: IB MYP Mathematics Teacher
As an MYP Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and concept-driven lessons aligned with the IB framework. You will help students build a deep understanding of mathematical concepts while promoting inquiry, application, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement MYP-aligned math units and assessments
- Foster student inquiry through hands-on, differentiated learning strategies
- Provide timely feedback and monitor academic progress
- Promote a growth mindset and encourage reflective thinking
- Collaborate with subject teams, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning
- Participate in professional learning activities and school events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in an IB MYP or international school setting
- Familiarity with IB pedagogy and assessment practices
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Confidence in using educational technology in the classroom
- Initiative, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous professional growth
