Role Overview

The IBDP Psychology Teacher will teach psychology as part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This role involves guiding students through complex psychological theories, research methods, and real-world applications. The successful candidate will engage students through inquiry-based learning, encourage critical reflection, and create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IBDP standards.
• Encourage analytical thinking and evidence-based understanding of psychology.
• Design assessments that measure conceptual and practical learning outcomes.
• Support students in internal assessments and extended essays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or Education.
• Valid teaching license or equivalent certification (QTS, PGCE, or similar).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in IB schools.
• Strong understanding of psychological concepts and IB assessment standards.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and curriculum development.
