Role Overview: Assistant Teacher (Primary)
As a Primary Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with lead teachers to support daily classroom activities, student learning, and administrative tasks. You will assist in delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, and helping maintain a safe and positive learning environment. This position is ideal for candidates who are eager to grow their teaching career in a reputable international school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the lead teacher with lesson planning, classroom instruction, and student engagement
- Assist with classroom management, behaviour guidance, and individual student support
- Help organise learning materials and prepare classroom resources
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a high standard of education
- Contribute to school events, co-curricular activities, and student enrichment programs
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and stimulating classroom culture
Requirements:
- A recognised bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent certification (QTS, PGCE, or similar)
- Previous experience in a primary or early years teaching environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning in an international context
