Role Overview: EYFS Teacher
As an EYFS Teacher, you will work with children aged 3 to 5, laying the foundation for lifelong learning through play-based, inquiry-led instruction. You will design engaging learning experiences that support cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development in alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and British curriculum principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver creative and age-appropriate lessons based on EYFS learning goals
- Support children’s curiosity through sensory play, storytelling, exploration, and group activities
- Build a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Track individual development and communicate regularly with parents
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and early years events
- Integrate technology to enhance learning and documentation
- Promote safety, empathy, and respect in the early years setting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of EYFS teaching experience, preferably in an international or British curriculum school
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Self-motivated, compassionate, and committed to professional growth
- Tech-savvy with experience using digital tools in early years education
