Role Overview: Secondary English Teacher
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
- Support students in developing strong literacy, analytical, and creative writing skills.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop curriculum plans and learning resources.
- Participate in school-wide events, co-curricular activities, and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE).
- Relevant experience teaching English at the secondary level, ideally within an international school.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the British curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for fostering student growth and creating an inclusive classroom environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
