Located across multiple cities in China, Kids ‘R’ Kids China offers a high-quality international kindergarten program grounded in a fusion of American and Chinese educational philosophies. The school provides care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with a curriculum that focuses on social-emotional growth, early academic foundations, and brain development.
The school implements a bilingual curriculum—approximately 80% in English and 20% in Mandarin—featuring STEAM education and the proprietary BrainWaves® approach. The teaching environment promotes creativity, inquiry, and hands-on learning, preparing children for future academic success in both local and international pathways.
Role Overview: Kindergarten English Teacher
As a Kindergarten English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that foster early literacy, numeracy, and inquiry skills. You will support children’s language development, emotional intelligence, and cognitive growth in a safe and stimulating classroom.
Responsibilities
- Deliver play-based and inquiry-driven lessons in English
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with school goals
- Support students’ social-emotional and cognitive development
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Collaborate with Mandarin co-teachers in a bilingual setting
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, TEFL, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of kindergarten teaching experience
- Familiarity with international or bilingual early years programs
- Strong English communication skills (native or fluent level)
- Passion for working with young children in an international environment
- Collaborative, creative, and growth-oriented teaching approach
