Role Overview
The Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging, rigorous lessons to secondary students, including those preparing for Cambridge AS and A Level Mathematics. The role includes planning differentiated instruction, assessing progress effectively, and helping students develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
You will collaborate with colleagues across departments, contribute to curriculum development, and maintain strong communication with students and parents. The role also involves integrating educational technologies to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience, ideally at the secondary level
- Native English speaker
- Knowledge of the Cambridge International Curriculum preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Comfortable using digital tools to support learning
- Passionate about student success and continuous professional development
- Team player with a proactive and student-focused mindset
