Role Overview

The ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Primary Classroom Teacher. This position demands a dedicated educator who can effectively design, manage, and deliver a comprehensive curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England. You will lead a vibrant learning environment where students develop core literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills through engaging and inquiry-led instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach high-quality lessons that align with the British National Curriculum and school learning objectives.
• Develop and execute instructional units that promote hands-on exploration, collaborative learning, and high student engagement.
• Cultivate a positive classroom culture that celebrates student achievement and fosters a growth mindset.
• Assess student progress consistently using diverse formative and summative tools to track academic growth and inform future planning.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment that encourages children to explore complex ideas and take risks.
• Collaborate consistently with grade-level colleagues and subject specialists to ensure curriculum alignment and holistic student support.
• Communicate effectively with parents to build strong partnerships and provide regular updates on student academic achievement and well-being.
• Utilize new technologies, such as interactive whiteboards and digital learning platforms, to enhance the quality of teaching.
• Proactively enrich the curriculum by leading wider school initiatives, such as student clubs, assemblies, or community service projects.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth by participating in school-led training and international primary education workshops.

Qualification

• Education: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Certification: Possess a valid teaching license or official certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) for primary education.
• Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a primary classroom teaching position.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Show strong familiarity with the National Curriculum for England and international teaching practices.
• Professional Skills: Maintain excellent classroom management and superb communication and collaboration skills.
• Language Proficiency: Be highly proficient in spoken and written English.
• Technical Ability: Demonstrate the ability to use modern technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
