Position: Social Studies Teacher
As a Social Studies Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inquiry-driven lessons in subjects such as history, geography, and civics
- Foster students’ analytical thinking, cultural awareness, and global perspectives
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and develop curriculum content
- Guide students in exploring complex social issues and understanding historical contexts
- Encourage respectful discussions and diverse viewpoints in the classroom
- Support students’ emotional and social development in line with the school’s values
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ classroom experience teaching social studies or related subjects
- Strong knowledge of international curricula and teaching strategies
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to thrive in a diverse, bilingual school community
- Passion for integrating sustainability and mindfulness into teaching
