Role Overview: Business Studies Teacher (IGCSE)

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that align with the Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies syllabus. You will challenge students to apply business theories and case studies to real-life scenarios while developing their analytical and decision-making skills. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning is highly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Business Studies lessons according to Cambridge IGCSE standards
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and classroom activities
• Use data to assess student progress and implement timely interventions
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments
• Organize co-curricular initiatives like business clubs, competitions, or projects
• Encourage independent learning, teamwork, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
• Recognized teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, IB Educator Certificate)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably with Cambridge IGCSE
• Deep understanding of business concepts and assessment practices
